Intrada in F-major op. 65 (2018)
from "Intrade - 18 Festive Organ Pieces"

"With this edition, the publisher is responding to the great need, especially for part-time organists, for preludes for the beginning of the service. Corresponding works usually have to be laboriously searched for in extensive anthologies and often do not meet the individual requirements for length, degree of difficulty and expressiveness existing works were not bundled, but renowned composers of our day were asked for exclusive contributions, which guarantees a maximum expansion of the repertoire. Attention was paid to everything that is important to the player in this context: easy playability (maximum C level, economical use of the pedals), can also be represented on smaller instruments (two manuals at most), liturgy-compatible length (sometimes with suggestions for shortening) and a sound effect that puts the festive and solemn in the foreground, so that the congregation is in the right mood for the service in the shortest possible time. All pieces are also suitable for other occasions, for example as a postlude. A 'vademecum' that can also be used in organ lessons, which will contribute to the liveliness of our services and which not only part-time workers will always and gladly fall back on." [Musikverlag Dr. Butz, Bonn]

“The Butz-Verlag presents an interesting and helpful volume with new organ music. All 18 mentioned composers come up with interesting new creations. Clear recommendation for a wide range of users!" [Church music information in the Diocese of Osnabrück 3-9 / 2019]

“All 18 pieces in this volume are practically oriented in terms of their length. Deliberately kept simple keys, clear shapes, tonal ties and sonorous, solemn gestures make this collection something special. The level of difficulty is deliberately kept moderate and low. " [Church music announcements Archdiocese Paderborn 2/2019]

“All pieces are easy to play and can be performed on most organs without any problems; some works can also be played on single-manual instruments. The works move harmoniously, melodically and rhythmically on familiar terrain. A solemn, pompous gesture prevails. The pieces can be used well in church services, not only for preludes but also for postludes. ”[Ars Organi 3/2019]
